My astronomy teacher from last semester has had an absolutely horrible summer. For years his wife had been battling cancer, and it finally took her this summer. So as if things haven't been hard enough on him and his family already, I got this email today:
This has been quite a summer for me.
Because of all that went on with my wife, I started having high blood pressure. It was 188 over 90. That's very high. Last weekend I got up early in the morning and almost passed out. I looked up on the computer and began researching what was going on. I ound a 'flag' on Low blood pressure and checkd that one out. I had all the symptoms. But, now I needed a doctor to check it out.
I was right. My pressure had fallen all right. It was down to 92 over 59. I also found out that I have internal bleeding going on. I've lost over 25% of my blood supply.
I have to go in for a surgical procedure tomorrow morning and get things checked out.
My blood count is still falling, and I might have to go in for an infusion. My doctor is trying to keep me out of the hospital.
I feel very weak much of the time, and have a lot of headaches.
Please continue to pray for me. I really need it.
Please, keep his family and especially him in prayer.
