For those of you who don't know, I am a dancer, but I haven't been dancing much recently because of knee problems. My knee was finally doing better, and I started practicing again. I decided to set a goal for myself to help with motivation. The goal was to audition for "So You Think You Can Dance." (It's the dance version of American Idol.) I basically just wanted to be in shape enough that I could be confident that I was performing to the best of my ability. As soon as I decided to start working toward this, my knee started acting up a bit again. No matter how much I do the things I learned from physical therapy, the pain just won't quit. This morning it was really bad, and I ended up not going to work. I've been working hard toward my goal, and I really don't want to give up. I even have a plane reservation to fly to the audition. And of course I want to be able to go to work without pain as well. Please pray that I would be able to push through this. I am really bad about always giving up, and for once I want to acheive my goal.
